Welcome to the Watchung Hills Jr. Warriors Hockey Club

Welcome to the Watchung Hills Jr. Warriors Hockey Club. We are a recreational ice hockey team for boys and girls of all abilities in grades K-8. In addition to more experienced hockey players, we host a developmental program for everyone. If you can stand on skates, you can play with the Warriors!

While many of our players are from the Watchung Hills Regional High School sending district, we accept kids from all areas. We only ask that you come ready to learn, ready to have fun, and ready to fall in love with hockey (if you aren’t already there).

Quite a few of our current Bantams started as Mites and are looking forward to playing at the high school level together. We are also proud to say that we’ve won a number of league championship titles.

In 2018, a new board of directors took over the club with an eye toward building it into something that grows and lasts well beyond our own kids’ involvement. Currently, we have over 80 kids skating at the Developmental, Mite, Squirt, Peewee, and Bantam levels. We also host a Spring league for our Peewees and Bantams.

In addition to teaching skills and skating, we are one of the only hockey programs to offer a mentorship program where our older skaters assist in teaching our youngest teammates.
